There Comes a time
When everybody needs a friend,

Someone who’s lots of fun
Who can’t be replaced,
By just anyone.

Someone you feel for
And care all about,
Someone who could help more
When you’re in times of doubt.

One who can bring out
The light in each day,
One who can help you
Through every tough day.

Someone who loves you
And shares all your joys,
Not someone who treats
Your emotions like toys.

Sometimes your hard times
Are too hard for just you,
And it’s so much better
When there are two.

There’s been a lot of excitement
In my life as you can see,
But you’re the best thing
That has happened to me.
