Hospitality For The Holidays

Hospitality For The Holidays

Hospitality For The Holidays

With the holidays approaching people tend to get the fast paced “I need it now” mentality. I know that doesn’t apply to everyone, because people can be in a hurry and still be polite. What if we all made a point to share some hospitality for the holidays?

The holidays should be a time for families to get together, share, make memories, and show each other how much they care. Sometimes simple acts of kindness can make the difference between someone feeling loved, cared for, and wanted; as opposed to feeling lonely, alone or possibly even unloved.

While everyone’s trials and struggles are different the fact remains that a trial or struggle is very real and difficult to the person dealing with it, no matter how anyone else views it. This is the time we need to take the time to be considerate, smile and say have a nice day. It may make a huge difference and may make their Christmas Merry and bright and their New Year a little happier! It doesn’t have to be a gift that cost’s a dime. Sometimes our presence is worth more than our presents. Just a simple act of kindness to show you care can be worth more than anything else.

If we all tried a little harder to share some hospitality through the holidays it may be all a person needs to make it through their day. So when you’re in a hurry take the time to smile and go the extra mile. Make the effort to be kind when you may have something else on your mind.
