For date night with my husband we decided to visit Jackie Ray’s Grill. We love to visit small, locally owned restaurants that offer something to add a little spice to a night now.
For me, I ordered my favorite, a Turkey Bacon Club sandwich, with ham, bacon, smoked turkey, Swiss cheese grilled and served on wheat toast with lettuce, tomato, and I chose the mayo as opposed to the creole mustard. The sandwich was excellent with the perfect blend of ingredients. Since I’m a “club freak” one of the first things I look for when I visit some place new is their club. Jackie Ray’s did not disappoint with just the right amount of flavor and plenty of bacon.

My husband had the grilled Chicken Breast sandwich on a brioche roll with lettuce, tomato and mayo. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection with the seasoning that brought out the flavor of the chicken. The house cut fries were perfect “ketchup dippers” that are slightly browned and delicious.
Light, slightly crunchy French fries were served with both sandwiches. The perfect touch to the perfect sandwich. We would recommend asking for the fries to be on the “side” of the club sandwich. The reason is the club is served cold and will make your fries get cold faster.
My club sandwich was so big that I could barely fit it in my mouth! Along with the fries they made the perfect meal and I would highly recommend it.
