If you want to talk about subs, Circleville has a good variety of restaurants that offers delicious, unique subs. One of those restaurants is pretty new to the area and is known as Jersey Mike’s.
They offer a good variety of subs that can be served cold or hot in a variety of sizes. They’re great for dining in or taking on the go, and even offer catering – so be sure to keep that in mind for your next party or gathering!
We ordered two of their more popular subs – a cold served sandwich known as “The Original Italian”, – topped with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni and served Mike’s Way, as a hot served sandwich known as “Mike’s Famous Philly” – topped with grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese.
The great thing about all their cold subs is that they give you the option to have things “Mike’s Way”, which consists of Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, and a special mix they call: “The Juice”. The Juice is a Red Wine Vinegar mixed with an Olive Oil Blend, Oregano and Salt. These blends mixed together are a nice medley of flavors that add a juicy, tangy taste to your sub. Mike’s Way is definitely the way to go if you’re choosing a cold sub, but if you’re going hot… Then one of their other traditional sauces is the way to go!
Mike’s Famous Philly was equally as good as the Original Italian – a perfect mix of onions and peppers, hot and delicious paired with white bread. If hot subs are your preference, we highly recommend Mike’s Famous Philly.

Lauren has been writing since she was at least ten years old – and anywhere she traveled, you could always bet that she would have a journal and a pen in hand. Though she writes mostly for the Dimple Times now, she has dabbled in writing short stories and novels throughout her life.
She’s spent most of her life in Circleville, Ohio – which has been a huge inspiration behind a lot of the locations, situations and ideas she has come up with for her different stories over the years.
Lauren enjoys using her writing to bring enlightening, encouraging and informative content to the Dimple Times – but outside of work, she also enjoys curling up with her cat to watch movies, read or simply to write for herself.
