Scramblers is a Christian Based Franchise that started in Toledo, Ohio – but you can visit them right in Lancaster, Ohio. Scramblers offers a variety of fresh foods served in uniquely healthy ways that is a fresh surprise while being extremely delicious.
Their brightly colored green and yellow walls accented with farmhouse décor gave off a warm, welcoming vibe as you enter the restaurant – as well as the sight of their podium with an open Bible and information about local upcoming events.
Our waitress, Rachel, was extremely pleasant and checked up on us throughout our meal to make sure our drinks were filled, as well as answering some questions we had about the food and the restaurant.

I settled on ordering their Downtown Turkey and Avocado sandwich – which consisted of roasted turkey, muenster cheese, avocado, fresh tomato and lettuce with garlic aioli on a brioche roll. I had a choice of fries or a fruit assortment as my side – and for an additional cost, I could have opted for a small salad or a side soup.
Trying avocado was pretty daring for me, as I had never had it before – but oh my, did it ever bring the sandwich together. The brioche roll was soft, fluffy, but it did not overpower the flavor of the other toppings – which was perfectly layered and tasted great between the roll.
We also ordered their Sunrise Burger, which is an option off of their seasonal menu and available for a limited time. A half-pound Angus burger is paired with mashed avocado, sun-dried tomato aioli, red onion, a thick slice of tomato and the kicker – a farm fresh egg! Breakfast and lunch are rolled up into one great meal with this burger.
The Lancaster, Ohio Scramblers has been around for ten years, and Cheryl, a server that has been there since the beginning, shared with that the owners of Scrambles tries to do what they can to help the local community: “They do what they can do to help local businesses. We support local churches, we support local community events.”
On top of having great food, great staff, and atmosphere, Scramblers even has a complimentary party room, which you can reserve anytime it is available – so long as you order something off their menu!
