Das KauffeeHaus von Frau Burkhart, is a local, veteran-owned coffee shop in the small town of Lithopolis, Ohio. Its decor and atmosphere is inspired by German coffee houses located in the German Underground scene, re-inventing the modern American coffee house.
The coffee served at Das KaffeeHaus is their “very own proprietary roasts based on our favorite roasts from Austria & Germany. All of which meticulously collected, crafted, and mastered over the last 25 years. All roast recipes are roasted right here locally – roasting is done every Monday, and we have fresh batches of all of our roasts weekly.”
You can also purchase bags of Black Rifle Coffee Company, which is a small batch, roast-to-order, veteran-owned coffee company. They import their high-quality coffee beans from Colombia and Brazil and personally blend and roast every single style of their coffee!

I ordered their traditional roast, mixed with French Vanilla syrup and half-and-half with a hint of stevia. The flavor was quite sweet and mild, which made for one of the greatest cups of coffee I’ve tasted!
Their brews can be ordered hot, frozen and over, and topped off with one of many flavors of creams and syrups.
