LANCASTER, OH – (July 19, 2019) – The Fairfield County Park District is excited to announce their new rebranding effort. This effort includes a new logo, brand colors and overall approach to how the park wants to be recognized within the community. The Park District is refreshing its brand to focus on the future of the parks while still pay homage to its rich history.
“We really looked to our rich history to guide us through this rebranding effort,” said Park Director, Todd Younkin. “From the covered bridges to the railway caboose and Cross Mound Park to our historical cemeteries, we embrace our past while also looking to focus on an exciting future, full of growth, educational opportunities and fun events. And we believe our new look truly reflects who we are.”
The Fairfield County Park District was established in 1981 and currently operates more than 885 acres of natural areas and open spaces in 11 of the 13 townships in Fairfield County. The parks department focuses on education, recreation and conservation, as well as preservation and restoration of the many historical features.

“With this rebranding, we really want the community to help us celebrate all of the wonderful things the park district has to offer,” said Younkin. “There is so much for our residents and their families to enjoy. Come visit the parks, trails, nature preserves, join us for a special event or visit a historical monument, and see for yourself!”
