Sharp Shooter Boardgame Review

A GOLDEN OLDIE! SHARP SHOOTERS was produced in 1995. So this year is its 25 year, and it seems like we have been playing it for that long! SHARP SHOOTERS is a simple dice rolling game with a press your luck feature that never gets old. Depending on the number of players, the active player will roll five of their dice into the Vegas like felt lined gaming tray. Once the dice are rolled you MUST if you can put at least one die on the active playing card. If you cannot your turn is over. On the active card there are 6 rows of up to 6 dice listed. The rows must be finished from left to right and the roller that finishes the row gets the payoff! Once you place your die or dice you can roll again. Again you MUST put at least one die onto the card. There are also rows that when filled takes points away from you! Do not be the last one to fill that row up or you are going to lose points! So with say only two dice left to roll and only one spot left on a roll to win 100 points and a row with one spot left to lose 60 points – DO YOU take the chance to win it all or lose big! Cheers and groans will result whatever you roll and if you win big or lose.

SHARP SHOOTERS is hard to come by these days and if you are lucky you will find it at a garage sale. Look and dig deep in your game closet, reach back into time and see if you have this Golden Oldie and bring it out back to the table to play. This game never grows old and is great fun for all ages.
