Pumpkin foods are one of the many things that attendees desire when they attend Pumpkin Show each year. Pumpkin goodies come in any variety of appetizers, dinner, desserts, or drink, offering something delicious and unique for everyone to try. Aside from the giant pumpkins, the pumpkin tower and the pumpkin souvenirs – the different variety of foods is one of those things people look forward to.
Here are just a few pumpkin goodies that are available to help with your Pumpkin Show blues, but there are plenty of good pumpkin foods that you can try out not only in the downtown Circleville area – but there are quite a few non-profits that are still creating some of their pumpkin goodies.
1 – Gibby’s Eatery Pumpkin Apple Bacon Soup and Pumpkin Wings

We can assure you of one thing – you can never go wrong with the delicious, messy goodness of Gibby’s Eatery pumpkin wings and the golden look and warm delectable flavor of their pumpkin apple bacon soup. They may not seem like it, but they’re a fantastic choice for a meal with a small salad on the side.
2. Pumpkin White Mocha and Pumpkin Caramel Pecan from Scioto Valley Coffee
Most would say it’s a given… you can’t have Fall without a good old pumpkin spice latte. However, if you have been to Scioto Valley you should really consider giving their Pumpkin White Mocha and Caramel Pumpkin Pecan a sip. Served hot or frozen, both are delicious and a great way to get ahold of some pumpkin cheer.
3. Pumpkin Cream Candies from Wittich’s Candy Shop
Wittich’s Candy Shop has all kinds of delicious pumpkin sweets to choose from, but if you’re looking for something with a rich texture that is perfect for your sweet tooth, look no further than their Pumpkin Cream candies. Not only are they delicious, but they’re handmade right in the shop with a lot of thought and care.
4. Pumpkin Donuts from Lindsey’s Bakery
This is one treat that is non-negotiable. You can’t go without Lindsey’s Bakery and their delicious pumpkin donuts, which may be served all year round but there’s something special about the tradition of getting them right around the time Pumpkin Show is supposed to happen.
5. Pumpkin Protein Shake from Circleville Nutrition
Circleville Nutrition has a unique variety of protein shakes to choose from, and pumpkin protein shakes are one of the many options to choose from. Not only do they taste good, but they’re bursting with color that adds to the experience of ordering one of their shakes.
This is just a sampling of what the small restaurants and coffee shops have to offer, but you can enjoy so much more by checking out what these restaurants and some of the others are offering. A few that we can think of off hand are the pumpkin pancakes and martinis at Watt Street Tavern, the pumpkin margaritas at El Pedregal, and we know we are missing so many more.
