Kielbasa Lazy Pierogi
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1-2 lb large kielbasa about 1 1/2-2 lbs (I used Blue Seal)
- 16 oz good quality sauerkraut use fresh bagged in refrigerator section of store
- 16 oz egg noodles
- 1/2 c butter
- 3/4-1 tsp salt
- black pepper, to taste
- 2/3 c Parmesan cheese (I use fresh grated Parmesan Reggiano)
- 1-2 pinch poppy seeds, optional
