New York Slice by Bezier Games

Are you a Chicago Style Pizza, New York Style or a Central Ohio kinda pizza connoisseur?

In NEW YORK SLICE you are now a top pizza chef and connoisseur. The pizzas are built with 11 slices by the “chef” for the turn. Slices are selected and placed randomly from the 69 included in the game. The chef then divides the pizza slices into groups equal to the number of players in the game preparing the pizza for the other players choices as the chef will always get the leftovers.

The game will continue in this manner, each person in turn getting to do the slicing, until all the pizzas have been carved up, chosen, eaten or saved to the end for final scoring.

The object of the game is to collect sets of pizza types and at the end of the game the person with the most slices of a pizza type will score the points listed on the pizza.

When slicing the pizza the chef will need to look around the table and see what the others are collecting. Do you include the Anchovy Slice worth negative points with a couple of the Mushrooms slices making sure that the person needing Mushroom slices will have to think hard about adding to that collection of pizza? You may have to take it yourself though as the Chef always gets the last choice!

At the end of the game, each pizza type is scored, the player that has the most of a certain slice of Meat Lovers, Mushroom, Veggie and other types will score varying points for the different types of pizza. Pepperonis score bonus points (who does not like pepperonis?) if you have some Anchovies you score Negative points. So don’t take some of those! (Does anyone like those on their pizzas?)
