When I grow up and you’re the kid

When I grow up and you're the kid

The innocence of a child is very imaginative. As kids, we have those times when we get upset with things our parents tell us. It may be a task they want us to do or a lesson they are trying to teach us. We don’t always understand it’s usually for our own good. When I was a little girl my mother told me there were many times I wasn’t pleased with something she wanted me to do. When those times occurred she told me that I would look at her, with a very serious expression, and say: “When I grow up and marry daddy, and you’re the kid….” My mother told me I said this statement many times when I was young, so I must have thought that someday I was going to be the adult, and she was going to be the kid. I guess I had the general idea for the “Freaky Friday” movie before It had been made.
