2021 Pickaway Park District and ArtsaRound photo contest starts this weekend and runs until May 23rd.

The Pickaway County Park District and ArtsaRound invited photographers to dust off their cameras and to head out to their local parks and trails as we host our first ever Photo Contest! Photos taken from the past three year were submitted under four categories; Wildlife  (anywhere in Pickaway County), Beautiful Scenery (anywhere in Pickaway County), and People In The Parks (must be from a Park District park or trail) and PCPD Park/Trail  (must be from a Park District park or trail).

All photos were submitted online through the Park District’s website by April 4^th, 2021. The Top 25 photographers were then invited to submit printed copies of their work to be displayed at ArtsaRound’s Gallery on the Original Circle for a month-long gallery exhibit and sale from April 30^th through May 23^rd. Gallery Hours are Fridays, 4 to 7pm, Saturdays 10am to 6pm and Sundays 1 to 4pm.

During this time, we invite visitors to view the art and vote on the Peoples Choice Award at a $1 a vote to benefit ArtsaRound and its ongoing projects. First, second and third place in each category, as well as the People’s Choice award will be announced and awarded prizes at a gallery reception for all participants from 2:00pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday the 23^rd at the ArtsaRound Gallery, 135 W. Main Street, Downtown Circleville.
