As things continue to return to “normal” I am reminded of something said by a friend who works in the food industry, “While the restrictions have finally lifted … continue to be kind and patient with your food service workers!! They work hard to serve you while struggling to keep ticket times down, keeping product in stock, chasing product and battling staffing issues, etc. They appreciate you.”
This same truth holds true throughout the business world in a variety of places. The shortage of employees alone has caused many businesses to experience problems trying to serve its customers. Add the fact that many products are unavailable or back logged, it makes it crazier.
So as we continue to “move about the cabin” please remember that not only have we all had a bit of cabin fever, but it will take a while to get the engine going at full speed. So please be patient, be kind, and together we will have the massive American economy rolling in no time.
