Low Carb Low Fat Asian Lettuce Wraps With Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce, low sodium
- 2 tsp molasses
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 3 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp Splenda or other artificial sweetener
- 1 lb ground turkey or chicken
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 can water chestnuts (8 oz)
- 1 c mushrooms
- 4 green onions/scallions
- 1 head of iceberg or Romaine lettuce
- DIPPING SAUCE
- 1/4 c soy sauce, low sodium
- 2 Tbsp ketchup (no sugar)
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Splenda or other artificial sweetener
- 1-2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice
- *1 tsp Sriracha or other hot chili sauce or paste *if desired
- 1 tsp sesame oil (preferable toasted)
