Nature’s Touch – Poetry

Nature’s gentle touch
floats within the whispers of the wind,
as we listen to the song birds
sing a sweet lullaby.

A beautiful glimmer peeps over the horizon,
bringing us a gift from heaven,
with tiny droplets of water
dancing like precious diamonds in the grass.

Puddles falling from dark, stormy clouds,
bring us a promise of a new beginning,
painting a picture of pastel colors
across an emerging, light blue sky.

Portraying a scene that takes our breath away,
leaving us a with a rainbow of hope,
pushing us toward one more day.
