Stars Give Comfort – Poetic Pauses

There’s something about those twinkling lights
adorning the black background
in the sky at night.

When sadness feels our heart,
we feel a giant hug comfort us
with each teardrop that falls.

There’s no misunderstanding,
their purpose is quite clear,
to bring us a smile
instead of a tear.
