When the blaring white noise
is turned off
one hears the most beautiful sound
echoing in the quietness.
It touches his soul for eternity
with little messages
as he touches God’s love
seeing it clearly for the first time.
He enjoys a glimpse of heaven on earth
by observing God’s handiwork
in the flowers and trees,
watching little critters like squirrels
chase and play.
A peacefulness overcomes him,
as he relaxes in the beauty
of God’s creation,
knowing the world
can never take it away.
