God’s presence
seems so much bigger
in a small town.
When people from tiny communities
rally together for a cause,
you feel the importance of God
touch every part of your being.
Watching them unselfishly
lend a helping hand
to those suffering from an illness
without worrying about themselves first.
Protecting them with a layer of prayer,
showing them the grace of God
as they become private angels,
providing comfort,
in the face of fear.
