Exhausted from the day at hand,
she lies down for a quick nap
when suddenly she finds herself strolling down a narrow trail,
sensing immense beauty.
Her feet on a pathway
edged with a bouquet of heaven scent flowers,
leading to a beautiful, three tiered wishing well,
with a brim trimmed in gold.
It collects teardrops of sadness,
recycling them into dew drops,
sprinkling a dash of happiness inside each one
returning them with the morning sunrise.
As she tosses a coin into the well
making a wish,
scenes of her life
flash before her very eyes.
Before she knows it,
she’s lying beneath the covers of her own bed,
waking up to a new sunrise
with the corners of her mouth turned up,
feeling the essence of her wish coming true.
