Cajun Grilled Tilapia

A delicious light meal for a hot summer day. Tilapia is a mild fish so the Cajun seasoning and lemon pepper are perfect to jazz up the flavor. We love placing a slice of lemon on the tilapia while it grills. The tilapia just soaks up the flavor. If you want to kick up the spiciness, the grilled jalapenos are a nice touch on the side. The ranch mellows the spice out a bit. Yum! Note: Season to suit your taste buds, but be mindful of the Cajun seasoning. Some have a lot of salt so go easy.
Ingredients
- 8 medium tilapia, filets
- bbq pit or stove top
- flat or raised edge grill
- 1/2 c olive oil
- Cajun seasoning
- lemon pepper
- 8 slice lemon slices
- 8 medium jalapeno peppers
- 1 bottle ranch dressing
