Breaking the “gap year” stigma!

Breaking the "gap year" stigma!

Breaking the "gap year" stigma!

“What do you want to be when you grow up” is the top question adults ask kids. The answers would be things like “a firefighter, a doctor, a ballerina, scientist, astronaut or even an actress” the list is endless! Adults would say, “That’s a great idea!” and encourage us to be whatever we want to be.

As the years go by, and you’re just about to finish school, you’re asked that same question just with a slight twist and a lot more seriousness, “what are you going to do next year? What are you going to study? What are your plans?”

Be honest with yourself. Do you truly know what exactly you want to study after school? Do you even want to go to college? Do you know what you want to become one day?
