Pumpkin Show Park Continues Building

The Pumpkin Show Park has been a great addition to the Downtown Circleville area, being used for more than just the Pumpkin Show itself.  Just recently it was used for a Christmas tree lighting in early December, and for the Round Town Night One New Years Eve celebration at the end of December (where a pumpkin was dropped during the countdown to the New Year).

The park is already beautiful, with tables for people to sit at and enjoy, beautiful plants lining the garden area, and the Pumpkin Show stage available for whatever event is to happen at the park. That said, the park wasn’t quite finished.

One of the steps needed for the park to be moved towards its completion is the nested sheltered structure, which will cover the area where tables are set up. This will protect the area and people looking to enjoy the park.  Not only from the rain and sun but it will give them a comfortable place to enjoy the park – whether it be during lunch hour, or an event going on.

Work has already begun on building the shelter house, as the equipment and the parts needed can already be seen in the park.

Another piece currently being worked on is the water feature, which is set to be placed along the wall of the Frontier building next to the park.

Below is the proposal of what the Pumpkin Show Park is going to look like.  With the current additions of the water feature and the nested sheltered structure they are well on their way.

The Pumpkin Show Park, in the past few months, has already proven to be a great addition to the Downtown area, with the events held there drawing more people to the Downtown. These new additions will not only add more to the events to be held but add more to the park throughout the whole year as well, including the Pumpkin Show.
