Every year, as promised in the 2017 levy campaign, the Pickaway County Park District awards grants to support local park and trail improvements. In 2019, the Park District awarded $125,000 (up from $55,000 in 2018) to assist with 10 local projects. Below are pictures of two recently completed projects. Congratulations to the Village of Williamsport for quickly completing their 2019 project and to Circleville Twp. for completing their 2018 project. The new shelter house at Ballard Ave. Park in Williamsport, and the new play structures at Circleville Township’s Logan Elm Village Park, certainly assist the Park District in increasing and improving outdoor recreation here in Pickaway County.
