If you love to read books about romance, The Hunger Games is definitely the book for you! In the ruins of North America lies the nation Panem. The Capitol is surrounded by twelve different districts, district twelve belonging to sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen. The Capitol keeps each district in line by sending one boy and one girl to fight to the death in the Hunger Games. Katniss’ younger sister has been chosen to fight. Without thinking, Katniss volunteers to take her sister’s place. To win, she has to make choices that could possibly end in death, and an unsuspecting romance arises. The Hunger Games is my absolute favorite book because it isn’t just about fighting and violence, it’s also about romance.
