When you visit the Pumpkin Show Park in downtown Circleville you will not only notice the new waterscape and gazebo that Circleville Pumpkin Show, Inc. installed earlier this year but earlier today OhioHealth Berger Hospital installed a HUGE wallscape that adds a beautiful touch to the park. The wallscape covers the wall that was damaged in a fire several years ago when we lost the American Hotel and was ultimately what created the open space that Circleville Pumpkin Show, Inc. put the park. The wallscape includes the saying, “Life is Gourd in Circleville” with beautiful art. We’ll be one of the first to say that it adds a wonderful touch to an already beautiful Pumpkin Show Park.
Teratia Welch, Marketing and Community Relations Manager with OhioHealth Berger Hospital, explained to us that the intent of the wallscape is to keep up year round or until the weather damages it. The future goal includes putting a movie screen that can roll down and be used for things like movies in the park.
When you visit the Circleville Pumpkin Show Park this year (runs October 16-19, 2019) be sure to stop by the park during the hours listed below for a special photo op where a photographer will be on hand to take your photo and even give you a print out…yep, you will get a real, printed photo! Don’t hear about printed photographs much these days, so this is really cool.

Thursday: 3:30pm-5:30pm
Friday: 4:30pm-6:30pm
