Columbus group Twenty One Pilots released a video earlier today that is providing a little hope to both fans and the world right now during the COVID-19 situation. The group started dropping hints earlier this week that they’d be releasing a new single as well as a new video.
The video shows band members Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun working to make a song and a music video happen, all the while following the guidelines of social distancing. The fun video shows them making the most of their time in quarantine and even features some special appearances from Tyler’s wife and newborn daughter.
Tyler Joseph shared with radio station KISS 107.1 that his mother encouraged him to write a song for fans during this difficult time, which resulted in a catchy tune about the time he made the choice to commit to his wife, Jenna, and about how life was no longer about him.
A portion of the proceeds from their new song will benefit Crew Nation and its Global Relief Fund for live music crews.
