LANCASTER, Ohio (Dimple Times) – The Mithoff Company worked together with businesses in the Lancaster community to help make Easter possible for families who have been affected by the COVID-19 situation. “I am curious how many children will not receive an Easter Basket due to finances, or how many families will not have a good meal for Easter Dinner? I would like to help as many Lancaster and surrounding area families as I can,” Brad shared in a Facebook post earlier this month. This kickstarted an amazing project that brought the community together in an incredible way.
Lancaster businesses like First Impressions Dental Assisting, Bay Foods-Castaways, Cherry Street Pub, Ricketts Excavating, and countless others were able to provide donations for items to create combined Easter baskets for children, as well as food items for families to be able to have a hot meal on Easter.

With the help of the local community, the Mithoff was able to put together a generous amount of Easter baskets for kids ranging in ages. Baskets were filled with coloring books, stuffed animals, candy and other special items. The Mithoff company was able to build nearly 700 baskets for local children in the community. The baskets were delivered around the area before Easter.

The Mithoff company shared in a post on Sunday about the process of this endeavor. On Sunday, they were able to deliver hot meals for families to be able to enjoy a delicious Easter dinner. Expressing their gratitude towards those who helped to provide to the different families during this difficult time, the Mithoff shared in their post a list of the people and businesses who jumped on board to help with this incredible act of kindness. It really put into perspective just how powerful working together can help so many in the local community.
