The Year Without the Pumpkin Show

In the year 2020 a virus came,

And ever since things haven’t been the same.

We were told to stay home, so we wouldn’t get sick.

We all hoped the virus would go away quick.

They canceled some fairs and big events.

People wondered where all the fun things went.

Some people weren’t bothered, but they still cared.

Some people were actually really scared.

With all the talk of how to stay safe.

We have to be mindful of germs and hold on to faith.

There’s limited visitation with family and friends.

We all can’t wait for the pandemic to end.

Now in October, as you all know,

2020s the year without The Pumpkin Show.

So with Thanksgiving and Christmas soon to come.

We are all looking forward to 2021.
