Years ago my daughter, Lauren had a black fuzzy spider crawling on her wall, so I decided I was going to have some fun with the idea. I sent a message to Lauren and to my brother Jonathan, in riddle form.
I said: “What is tan, with black spots, loves music, and is in a hurry to study the history of horses?” Lauren couldn’t figure it out. My brother guessed Selena Gomez since she liked her music. I told them it was Lauren’s room. The tan represents the walls, the music is for all the singer’s posters she had on her wall, Big Time Rush is always in a hurry, the history is unnatural (Unnatural History was one of her favorite shows) and the horses are rather obvious to anyone who has seen her room. I asked can you guess or figure out the black spots? Hint: it likes music in octaves. Jonathan thought it was a piano. Hint 2: It’s Fuzzy. Lauren replied: “?”. Hint 3: Lauren really loves these. Jonathan’s response: her guitar. Hint 4: She doesn’t really like them at all they freak her out. Jonathan’s response- “Spiders!!!” Then he said, “the Itsy, Bitsy Spider.”
When she couldn’t quite figure it out I sent her this text:
The Fuzzy Wuzzy Spider crawled up on Lauren’s wall.
Drooled on all her posters and had itself a ball.
Till Jimmy tried to catch it and knocked it on her bed.
Now the Fuzzy Wuzzy Spider’s outside, so Lauren can rest her head.
