My husband had a particularly busy day at work and I guess he was very tired. He came home with a headache and asked the kids to keep quiet at dinner. He had said all evening he was having trouble staying awake.
Normally he liked to watch something humorous for a few minutes before going to bed and this particular night he turned off the TV early. Not only that, but he was the comedian that night because he made the comment “I can’t even vegetate productively in front of the TV without falling asleep.” I laughed and told him that sounded like a serious contradiction of terms.
