When wandering around a neighborhood or area of luxury housing, it is impossible to take your eyes off the beautiful, interesting homes with their unique garden design. You may wonder how easy it may be to create a luxury garden at home for yourself, but really it doesn’t have to be so difficult. It is possible to combine ornaments and furniture items that are suitable for a luxurious design also for the yard and the exterior parts of the house.

Today a very wide range of durable furniture items can be obtained that are designed to be used in yards, balconies, open roofs or gardens. Because of this, people who live in luxury homes do not compromise and devote all the necessary resources to the proper design of the exterior – both to suit their standard of living and to match the tastes and personal preferences of the whole family. A table, chairs, a special stone path, colorful lighting fixtures or even a private hot tub are all possible to achieve though, even on a smaller budget!

Clear and tidy the terrace

You may find that towards spring/summer, your garden is cluttered with various objects, boxes, packaging or materials stored here for convenience: you will therefore have to start by tidying up and throwing away what needs to be tidied up to clear the space and make it a blank canvas.

If you had wintered plants or shrubs on the terrace, protecting them with a wintering veil, you will be able to remove these adornments and pave way for some new florals. Sweep the terrace and by using a high pressure cleaner you can remove all the dirt which may have developed, around the property and in the garden itself. This will make it immediately look spruced up.

New garden furniture?

Whether you have protected it under a tarpaulin or stored in a garden shed, it is likely that a little updating of your garden furniture is necessary: beyond cleaning, it may need to be painted too. Repaint or replace broken fences as a lick of paint does wonders. Add some trellising and some crawling plants which will look gorgeous! If you want something a little more exciting, why not add a hot tub or create a small pool. If you have the space, then a new pool installation doesn’t have to be so difficult!

Depending on the size of your garden and according to your desires, you may want to create a vegetable garden on your terrace or you will sometimes already have, during the winter, drawn the plan of your garden. Add some plant pots and plant some bright flowers to bring the garden to life a little more. Use low maintenance options also such as bamboo to create a nice dynamic. The materials you use also influences the garden. They create a style: a bohemian-inspired garden with natural or recycled materials will be the opposite of a very mineral Zen garden or a contemporary garden using composite materials. It’s time to make your garden beautiful!
