It’s pretty hard to beat that as an incentive to want to work for such a company. Additionally, cabin crew training usually takes around 12 months to complete, and on-the-job training is required. So you could be setting sail for exiting locations almost immediately.
Travel Nursing
Caring for others is a noble profession and one of which anyone can be proud. But, unfortunately, no matter where you go, it always seems like there’s a shortage of professional care employees. Maybe it’s because the pay isn’t what it should be, the hours are long, and it can be dangerous. So why choose travel nursing as a career? First, the pay is better than standard nursing. But you get to see places and meet people you otherwise would miss. Essentially, you can indulge two fulfilling passions at the same time.

The Military
This isn’t for everyone as being in the military requires a particular type of person, whether the armed forces or navy, but this doesn’t necessarily mean combat in war-torn countries. Around 40% of soldiers never see combat, and of the 60%, approximately 20% deploy into war zones. But military life is still hard, and you will be required to train and perform duties every day. However, military operations take you worldwide, and you will get to see some of the best places our planet has to offer. All the while learning local customs and new languages.

In stark contrast, holiday repping is almost the complete opposite to the military. Should you be of a more hedonistic disposition, then this career might be just what you need. Meeting new people in exotic holiday destinations is like a never-ending holiday that pays you for having fun. However, for the most part, you will help clients with queries, see them to hotels and take care of any issues. But training is relatively easy and takes around four weeks. You can also benefit from extra pay and fewer headaches if you speak more than one language.
Hotel Management or Service
The hotel industry is another excellent choice for those who don’t mind being away from home for extended periods. Unfortunately, the service industry is one of the worst affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but things are improving. The great news is that most hotel service jobs require no formal training or education, and you can advance your experience. You can get into management with hard work and gaining new skills. In addition, hospitality and service experience will allow you to travel to various locations to build a reputable career.
Archaeology and Geology
These two will require the most formal education, as they are specialized and respected fields of all the careers listed here. However, they both need work experience and training as part of your college degree course. Therefore, you can expect to deploy to some of the world’s most incredible historical sites around the world. Areas such as the Pyramids, ancient Mesopotamian sites, or Hawaii’s volcanoes are most active. While at these sites as a student, you will gain invaluable insight and knowledge that you can use later in life following graduation.

Traveling as a photographer is a dream for many people. However, photography requires more than pointing and shooting. There is a high level of skill involved in the art, and even more so with digital photography and editing. But once learned, this career will take you to some of the world’s most remote and exotic locations. Or perhaps to some of the planet’s most impressive cities. Photography is usually freelance work, though, and getting gigs can be challenging. Fortunately, thanks to the internet, the gig economy has never been more active.
