Lost in the sky,
dangling my feet over a rainbow,
waiting to catch a glimpse
of that first second,
when the sunrise touches the horizon.
A glimmer of hope
sings boldly within my weary soul,
taking me on a journey
through endless lullabies,
bringing me back to a time
when innocence was blind.
Where I soar gracefully
like the bluebirds,
filling my soul with peace,
painting a vibrant life,
leaving trouble behind.
