Rewind time
take me back to the days
where neighbors were neighborly.
When borrowing a cup of sugar
was a normal routine,
and giant candy bars
were handed out during Halloween.
Along with candy apples
and popcorn balls,
the store on the corner
giving out free ice cream.
Fast forward to today,
neighbors hardly speak,
no one knows your name,
your just a person
who lives next door,
nothing is the same.
