Our Pickaway County ventures this month took us in to Cherry Street Diner in Ashville, OH. Cherry Street Diner offers home cooked style meals and is a popular breakfast spot for locals.
We were there during lunch and I ordered their Turkey Club with fries – one of my favorite sandwiches. It was a pretty good sandwich, with a decent amount of turkey, a perfect amount of bacon all topped on toasted bread. The fries were fresh and crispy. I was content with my meal, though I would have probably preferred a little more mayonnaise. Yeah, I should have asked.
The atmosphere at Cherry Street Diner is both unique and cool, complete with old-fashioned posters, witty signs and even a train track hanging from the ceiling.

I would visit Cherry Street Diner again, next time with the goal to try their Roast Beef Split.
Good food, efficient and friendly service.
