PANDEMIC the hit game introduces a NEW concept in gaming. We are not playing against each other – we are against the game – together we will save the world, or we will lose this together.
Throughout the game, cards will tell you where the next outbreak will be and other events that happen. It will be up to all playing to move their people on the board, to react to and stop the epidemics from spreading around the globe. Can we use our resources to the best of our ability to stop the diseases in their tracks or will a worldwide pandemic wipe us out?

Cooperative gaming, working together to stop disease, stopping the aliens from invading, defeating enemies at our gates, building worlds is a growing segment of the hobby. CO-OP Gaming comes in many guises. There are simple card games where the goal is just to play all of our cards from the lowest to the highest – working together – the catch – we cannot talk to each other!
There is now an element in some CO-OP games where one of the players is a hidden “traitor”, being it is their job to help the game win. Can this person do it without being discovered? What can we do to stop them? How can we win when we do not even know who is on our side?
They have even introduced the new “Legacy” CO-OP games … What is that? Have you ever played a game where at the end you wish you could keep playing but start where you ended? Now you can! Actions and results in the first game will carry over to the next. Rules can change, stickers can be added to change the board, and pieces removed. Legacy games are meant to be played a fixed number of times, and then they are done and cannot be played again. Each game is building towards the end. We lost the last time – can we win this time – will we win in the end?
What do you mean I can only play this game 12 times, it’s different every time, and we all lose or win at the same time?
