The Selection by Kiera Cass – Book Review

The Selection by Kiera Cass is a book about a girl living in a country called Illea, ruled by a monarchy, and the prince needs a wife. The selection is where 35 girls go to the palace to try to win prince Maxon’s heart, Bachelor-style. America Singer gets selected to join the competition for the prince, but she doesn’t want to be since her heart belongs to someone else. This book is one of my favorites because there isn’t just a love story; there is also rebellion against the government which adds many twists, Hunger Games-style.
