Darkness fills our heart
when death knocks upon the door
opening the gate to heaven.
Sensing our sadness
pouring down a flood of tears.
With eyes gazing up,
we see the sky clear
painting a beautiful arch of colors,
immersing us with peace.
A pathway of light
descends down from heaven,
gathering our loved one’s spirit.
The corners of our mouth turn up,
our tears fade away,
shouting in joy
knowing our angel made it home.
