If you don’t want spoilers for the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie I would turn around now and make a run for the Green Hills!
From the start with Longclaw the Owl the movie was well written, storyline was good, and they did great on the side of acting. The way they designed Sonic’s model was incredible. The voice actor for Sonic, Ben Schwartz, was the perfect choice to voice him. He gets very expressive and all out with his acting.

Another moment that was amazing was the bar scene with everything in slow motion while Sonic made his moves. The song was catchy and the scene was well-thought-out and put together. Without a doubt one of the best scenes from the movie.
With plenty of humor with just Sonic, adding Jim Carey as the villain, Robotnik polished the movie off perfectly. While Robotnik was Dancing to the song “Where Evil Grows” we were cracking up…especially the part in this scene where he is running from the T-Rex.
The movie rolled you through a variety of emotions: it was funny, a little sad, and very entertaining.
I thought the scene where sonic got shot by Tom was priceless. The saddest part was when Sonic was about to say goodbye and says how sad he is, and he doesn’t want to leave because it feels like his home. The battle of Sonic vs Robotnik was another one of my favorite scenes. It was great and serious because it shows how much Sonic cares for his family. At the start, his favorite people were Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady because Donut Lord would talk to his donuts and eat them when they got out of line, and he thought Pretzel Lady had no bones. At the end of the movie, I was excited when Tails, Sonic’s friend from his dimension appeared.
That’s my opinion of Sonic and if you haven’t seen the movie I highly recommend you watch it. It was a great family movie and it had all the things I enjoy and more.
