Can’t Stop – Boardgame Review

There is something that feels good when you have a handful of dice in your hands and you are ready to roll them and you are looking for those special numbers!

This is CAN’T STOP and it is aptly named as each roll of the dice can spell doom or bring victory, and we never stop!

CAN’T STOP is a “press your luck” type game. Each turn you will roll four dice to activate numbers on the board. You take the dice in pairs so each roll will give you two numbers from two to twelve. On your turn you roll the four dice and pair them up, you then advance your active markers on the board IF you have rolled that number. But here is where the fun comes in … if you do not roll ANY of your three active numbers you lose ALL of your progress THAT turn and must pass the dice. Of course, you can stop rolling at any time, claim your progress for the next turn and hope to continue then. But is your opponent close to victory? What if they beat you to the top of the board on that number you are rolling and close that path for you. Every turn you must weigh the decision to stop or go. For many of us, having the dice in our hands it’s always we CAN’T STOP, and we roll and roll and roll, till we bust or win!
