Pictures is a fast playing, family friendly, simple game that is loads of FUN!
Pictures is a game of MAKING pictures of pictures and having everyone in the game guessing what pictures you are trying to recreate!
The first 16 pictures of the 90+ provided are placed in a 4×4 grid. Each player then draws a chit with the row and column on it and that is the picture they have to recreate.
Now the fun part! There is a set of “fun” objects for each of up to 5 players that can play. One player gets some rocks and sticks, another some colored cubes, and the others get other differing objects to use to recreate the photo they drew. Points are awarded for guessing your opponent’s pictures and how many of the other players guess yours correctly!
The game says it can play up to 5 players because of the limit of objects … But really any number can play if the players take turns creating the displayed pictures with the objects provided.
Can you make or create a picture of the monarch butterfly on card B3, so your friends can guess correctly and give you and then points using only a few sticks or stones? Will you guess your friend’s picture of an umbrella on D1 with the 9 colored cubes they are allowed to use?
Pictures is the latest International Game of the Year and deservedly so. Simple, Elegant, Fun for ALL! You do not have to be an artist to be good at PICTURES. You just have to want to have fun with friends and family for this to be a hit!
