FOR SALE is a card game for 3-6 wanna be property tycoons. The game plays in 30 minutes, but you better set aside more time, as soon as you are done you will be wanting to go at it again!
This is a fast playing card game of bidding and bluffing as you buy properties, but as we know it is the selling of those properties that makes the bucks and the player with the most money at the end wins the game.
In the first part of the game, there will be a few rounds of buying properties based on the number of players. A number of cards equal to the number of players are dealt face up to the center of the table. The property cards are valued from 1 to 30. In a player’s turn, a person puts an amount of money in front of themselves. The next person can pass and take the lowest valued property or place a bid of higher value in front of themselves. The bidding continues around the table in this manner until all but one has passed. If a player passes that has money in front of them, they pay half rounded down and take the lowest value card. The final highest bidder would pay ALL their bid and take the highest card. Play continues in this manner until all cards are bought.
Now for the fun part – SELLING!!
Currency cards with differing values are shuffled and a number equal to the number of players are turned face up on the table. NOW our great property experts select one of their purchased properties in secret and all are revealed at the same time! The player with the highest value takes the highest bid card and so on. This continues until all the cards are sold and the player in the end that has the most money is declared the winner …
