FMR is a card game for three to six, card playing, dice loving, risk taking, hot rodding car racing fans!

On a turn the person whose turn it is plays one card, follows the directions on the card and then at the end of their turn draws a new card. Play basically continues in this manner until all the cards in the deck run out.

At the start of the game, each player takes control of two cars of the same color and based on a random selection will put the cars in a line from first to twelfth.

On your turn, you choose a card in your hand and play it and follow the directions. You play your card and decide which car to act upon. Some cards are color coded, and you can only play them on cars of that color, even though you might not want to. There are passing cards, crashes, and other cards with differing effects. If your card says Blue passes four cars, you just move one of the blue cars up four spaces in the line, pushing the other cars back on when you pass it.

There is no “track”, it is always just a line of twelve cars (or less if some crash) You can always see who is in first and second and all the way down to last. It is possible that a car not being run by someone if there are fewer than 6 players can win the race.

When the deck is exhausted, the race is over and you score points for which position your cars are in. A race usually takes about 20 minutes and playing three races is an hour, and whoever has the most points at the end of the session is the FORMULA MOTOR RACING CHAMPION!
