- Sumburger (Chillicothe, Ohio)
Not only was this the people’s choice for best burger, but it probably would have been your grandfather’s choice, too – as Sumburger has been serving Chillicothe since 1953. Their Sumburger (which you can also order as a double Sumburger) is a juicy, delectable burger topped with a couple of slices of melted cheese, their special Sumburger sauce, all between two soft and fluffy seeded buns.
- Ashbrook Distillery and Grill (Ashville, Ohio)
You can choose between a single burger (1/2 lb) or a Double Burger (1 lb.) and when it comes to toppings, it comes with the works! The topping options include lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapenos, or mushrooms. For the dairy, your choice includes American cheese, swiss cheese, hot pepper cheese, blue cheese or cheddar cheese and the option of BBQ, Steak sauce or Hot sauce. Add a little crisp when you include bacon for only $1 more. This burger was juicy, cooked perfectly and with so many options for toppings you can’t go wrong and you definitely won’t go away hungry.

Nothing screams all-American like Gibby’s Eatery & Sports Bar – and with their variety of burgers, where do you begin? Anything from a good old traditional burger with their Gibster (shh, it has a secret Gibby’s sauce that makes it unique!), to specialty burgers like their Bacon Cheddar Ranch or their new Beer Cheeseburger, and there’s even a vegan option with their Impossible Burger! If you’re feeling like pigging out and winning something special while you’re at it – try their Gibbinator. If you can eat a burger that consists of four all-beef patties, pulled pork, cheddar, provolone, onion straws, and blackberry BBQ sauce – you’ll get a free t-shirt! All their burgers are hot, fresh, and rich in juiciness.
