CUBITOS is a racing game for blockheads. Each of the 2 to 4 players takes on the role of one of the racers in the game and in less than an hour one of the runners will be crowned as the victor in the annual CUBE CUP for squareheads.
CUBITOS is a push your luck racing game. On your turn, which everyone one does at the same time, there is the DICE ROLL phase. You roll all your dice and if all of them come up blank, you bust. If you get some non-blank dice, you set those aside. Now the fun comes. Do you push your luck and roll all the blank dice again, knowing if they all come up blank you bust, and you lose all your dice that you have saved? Or do you roll again, hoping to be able to have more options in the next phase of the game. So do you play it safe or push yourself and go for the victory?
After the Roll Dice phase, each of the runners will move their pieces on the track during the RUN PHASE. There are obstacles to overcome and rewards to be gained. The victor will be the runner that uses their dice and moves their runners the best during the run phases.
